Downtown








Yes, we have our very own Hector Guimard metro entrance.





Some scenes from a downtown stroll. It's good to look up every once in a while.

It's so interesting to me that we have a similar eye and aesthetic, but you do everything so much better! How I envy your eye :)

These downtown images remind me of some Lensbabies I took while exploring NYC and SF a couple of years ago, and more recently again here in SF while testing the new Sweet 35 optic (which I think is fantastic):

Love the perspective of the building with those interestingly shaped windows.

I'm wondering if you achieved the soft areas around the main focus using a tilt-shift lens of if that was done post-production? Either way, it's lovely!

Marisa: The lensbaby and tilt-shift lens are so much fun in the city. That style seems to work so well with tall buildings and all those repeating windows. The Sweet 35 optic looks cool. I don't have that one.
