2010 Wall Calendar
Some of you have asked if I might consider making a larger wall calendar available. Well, ask and ye shall receive. I've published my 2010 Eye Poetry calendar as an 11"x17" wall calendar here on lulu. Here's a sample of one of the calendar pages as well as the photographs that you will find inside. Enjoy!

1000 lanterns
Yesterday was a gorgeous fall day so I headed out to the Montreal Botanical Gardens for the annual "Magic of Lanterns" festival. In some ways I loved how the lanterns sparkled in the sun even more than how they looked when dark descended. The buildings trimmed in light are always a fabulous source of yummy bokeh (those big beautiful round blobs of light). The festival is on until November 1 if you happen to be in the Montreal area.

There's a place in the orchard ...
where the sun kisses the leaves
makes sparkles in the grass
and brings back memories of childhood days

2010 Calendars - hot off the presses!
I've designed three desk calendars for 2010 and had a blast doing it. We're almost at the sequel year to 2001 A Space Odyssey (probably won't be as good, if the year is anything like the movie). How did that happen!?! They're available in my Etsy shop, where I'm also having a wee 20% off sale on 8x8 and 8x10 prints until this Sunday October 4 at midnight.
The first calendar is called "Eye Poetry" and is full of dreamy photographs.
The second is called "Two if by sea", and includes 12 of my favourite seascapes.
The third is my "Paris is for Lovers" calendar for those who want to be reminded of a past trip or to be inspired to plan one (or just daydream quite frankly).
Here's a sample of the calendar pages (from the Eye Poetry Calendar).
